The transport company is (not) looking for a director: It will postpone the deadline for submission of tenders for the third time
The mandate of Petr Witowski as chairman of the board of directors and another member of the board of directors, Jan Šurovský, will end on December 15. According to Scheinherr, those on the board will end, but they will remain in the management functions of General Director in the case of Witowski and Technical Director for Surface Transport in the case of Šurovski until the end of March, eventually completing auditions for the director position.
The representatives discussed the point at the initiative of the Spolu club (ODS, TOP 09, KDU-ČSL). After the start of the discussion, it was interrupted, and in the meantime, the representatives of the council parties met with Scheinherr and negotiated an agreement, which was also approved by the chairman of the club Spolu Zdeněk Zajíček (ODS). Part of the solution is that Scheinherr will remain at the head of the supervisory board, but the remaining members, whose mandate will also end, will not get a new one.
The deadline for submitting applications for the positions of DPP directors it originally ended on October 15, but the company extended it by a month on the instructions of the city management. In the post-election negotiations, representatives of the Spolu coalition and the ANO movement called on the outgoing city council to postpone the selection procedures. They called on the council, headed by Mayor Zdenek Hřibe (Pirates), not to make important decisions in any city and to leave it up to the new coalition and its councillors. Subsequently, the company extended the deadline again until this Friday.
Tenders are open for the CEO and five other directors. The company has already selected a new economic director, who became Jiří Pařízek. He replaced Matej Augustín in the position, who along with former deputy mayor Petr Hlubuček, businessman Michal Redl and others are accused in the Dozimetr case. According to the police, an organized group of the accused systematically occupied a key position in the DPP so that the installed friendly managers could influence various tenders in order to receive bribes.
Petr Witowski (49) arrived at the party in purely summer clothes.
