In Rome November 25 evening dedicated to the Courage of Iranian women
In the splendid setting of the Albergo Etico della Capitale, the first hotel in the Eternal City to combine Hospitality and Social Responsibility within a solid ethical project, the Zonta e-Club of Rome Parioli celebrates the International Day against Violence against Women on 25 November at 7.30 pm at the Etico hotel. (See flyer). The Albergo Etico is – above all – the place where many young people, each with their disabilities, with their difficulties, approach the world of work and learn a trade.
This year the Zonta Roma Parioli e-Club felt the need to celebrate this anniversary the Courage of Iranian Womento remind everyone that these days in Iran there is a big battle with hundreds of victims, mostly women who take to the streets to claim their rights.
During the evening, experts in the sector will be involved, in particular Dr. Tiziana Ciavardini, an Italian cultural anthropologist and journalist who has lived more than 24 years outside Italy, in the Middle East, in the Far East and in South East Asia. You have spent more than 13 years in the Islamic Republic of Iran, a country where you travel frequently and whose serious problems you have often denounced.
Works have been collected by Artists and Beginners who have chosen to support the Zontian Cause against violence against women and during the evening the Exhibition will open and will remain at the Albergo Etico until 10 December 2022. Guests of the evening two artists who support our cause Pamela Squarta and Mahroo Hemati a young Iranian artist.
The exhibition will remain open until December 10th at the Albergo Etico and it will be possible to make an offer on the paintings on display, the proceeds will be donated to Zonta International projects in support of women around the world. In addition to the exhibition, a fundraising lottery will also be active, the cost of the ticket is at the discretion starting from 10 €.
On 10 December at the end of the Exhibition a sort of picture will be drawn among the participants.
