from the nursery school of Fiorentino to that of Cantiano in the Marche region
A sort of early Christmas. To the children of Cantiano nursery school special gift packages arrive, containing educational material donated to them by Florentine nursery school. The idea of bringing this little one help to families of the Municipality of the Marches hit in mid-September by aflood she was born to the father of one of the San Marino pupils and was immediately welcomed and shared by the other parents and by the school.
And it was the children who wrapped the presents. “We are delighted to be able to embrace the children of Cantiano and their teachers in this way – he comments Patricia Buonaguro, coordinator of the Florentine Infant School ‘Il Vecchio Pozzo’ -. It’s a little help to color their days. And then we thought of letting them know our Republic with a billboard and a letter”.
“Duty on the part of the Castello council to contribute and support this commendable initiative – he says Marina Tabarrini of the council of Castello di Fiorentino -. We thank the parents who promoted the initiative and the teachers who immediately supported it. We also think that they are fundamental messages of solidarity for the growth of children”.
A gesture of closeness that reaches the children of Cantiano, many of whom have experienced firsthand the tragedy of the flood. With them the parents, who are thus relieved at least of the expense of school supplies. The children really appreciated the gift and reciprocated: “We too – he says Stephanie CamborataCantiano nursery school teacher – we did a gift for our friends. We made a billboard withrain manwho unfortunately fell asleep on the day of the flood and played a nice little trick on us.
The children drew the places of Cantiano, some destroyed by the flood, the typical things like black cherries. It was meant to be a thank you for this beautiful gesture they have made towards us”.
“It would be nice to continue this twinning with the San Marino school – concludes the teacher – and perhaps organize a trip with the parents to visit them”.
