Sweden has firmly closed its doors to migrants and is gearing up to throw out the existing one
Sweden has been hit by the flood of immigrants from its former prime minister Magdalena Andersson. The law and order situation in the country has been overthrown by the huge flow of migrants and the former prime minister had also accepted her incompetence in handling the issue. The Scandinavian country was reduced to a crime scene but Anderson continued to blame the criminals and sat back with folded hands.
The data suggests that gang violence has been much more common in the country compared to other EU countries. But the recently concluded elections provided a ray of hope for the country. The immigrants who shook the nation with violent riots and crimes are now breathing their last in today’s Sweden. All thanks to the newly elected Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson, who has come out hard against the Anderson regime’s fluid migration policy.
Under Magdalena Anderson’s Democratic Party, the once safest nation in the world saw a dramatic transformation. Sweden is now number one in Europe in terms of fatal shootings. In the early 2000s, Sweden had the lowest rate of gun violence on the continent. But in 2019, it reported the maximum number of shootings in Europe.
According to a report from the Crime Prevention Council released in 2021, crimes were found to be higher in areas inhabited by immigrants compared to other regions in Sweden. But now the country is ready to firmly close its doors to the migrants. According to local media, Sweden has proposed addition to its immigration rules in an attempt to convert permanent residency to temporary status. Migration Agency Director General Mikael Ribbenvik tells SVT Nyheter that “an investigation will look into the circumstances under which current permanent residence cards can be converted into temporary residence permits.” This would be the first time it happened in Sweden. This has never happened before, added Ribbenvik.

About 300,000 people in Sweden currently have permanent residence cards, which give them unlimited access to the country for the duration of their stay. Ribbenvik acknowledged that the proposal may worry some of these people.
The Swedish government’s intentions to abolish permanent residence permits are another step in the nation’s fight against immigration. Last month, the right-wing government and the Sweden Democrats reached an agreement, called the The Tido Agreementwhich proposes drastic immigration measures and a reduction in the number of refugees coming to Sweden, from 5,000 per year to just 900.
It also calls for the permanent residency system to be abolished and those who have not assimilated to be allowed to return. Clearly, the new prime minister is coming down hard on the immigrants who are causing trouble on Swedish soil. Ever since they flooded the country, gang crime has been fueled in large numbers. Since 2020, many high-profile murders have taken place, as a result of which Deputy National Police Chief Mats Löfving had to make a statement in which he pointed out that 40 migrant clans operate in Sweden and held them responsible for the violence.
He said: “These clans have come to Sweden solely to organize crime. They work to create power, they have a great capacity for violence and they want to make money. And they do it through drug crimes, violent crimes and extortion.”

According to reports, the authorities identified 60 “vulnerable areas” in Sweden. Most are inhabited by immigrants, unemployment and crime are higher in these areas compared to other regions in Sweden. As evidence, with only 5.4% of the population, 50% of shootings took place in these areas. But, the Social Democrats led by Magdalena Andersson failed miserably to handle the situation.
However, Sweden under Kristersson is ready to take the task on its plate and is trying to tighten the policy. To the relief of the people, the new government is gearing up to build a giant wall to stop the immigrants from entering the Swedish country, and at the same time it is even preparing to throw the existing ones out of the country’s social fabric. .
