Varsovian of the Year 2022. We know the winner of this year’s plebiscite!
Varsovian of the Year 2022. The laureate has been selected
The Warszawianka of the Year Award is committed to both the activities for the capital and the initiative of activities to promote values, including as tolerance, outstanding contribution to one’s field, activities for women, civil society and community communities. – We are grateful that this initiative is effective and celebrated. Nominated women are attractive. Today is a doubly special day because we celebrate World Kindness and Greetings Day. It is a great pleasure to be able to honor exceptional women on our stage – on to the exit gala, Agnieszka Hyży.
A strong name of the mayor of Warsaw at the Warszawianka Roku gala
– We do everything to make women’s voices sound. Thank you to the women I work with every day. Without the power and compromise of an inactive open Warsaw where we all have the same chances. Because none of us proposed that we would have at our disposal with Medieval Abortion Law that the mission commander will talk things about “giving naturally”, croak about babies having trouble getting their gender listed. We all check employment so that Warsaw has equal opportunities, so that there are programs that are important to women. This is the standard of the 21st century. That’s why ten plebiscites for an optimistic moment, because each of the nominees shows that it is worth protecting and evaluating important matters. The strength that emanates from the nominated women gives us help that we will be able to look with pride to the future all over Poland. This plebiscite in these times is a certain symbol, and it is the attitude of all women we consider to this plebiscite – said the Mayor of Warsaw, Rafał Trzaskowski.
– Warsaw is a very special city. Warsaw is open and accessible to everyone, this is not a cliché, but a matter of course. Just in recent years on the streets of the capital, women can be seen protesting in defense of the discriminated and ridiculed – added Ewa Malinowska-Grupińska, chairwoman of the Warsaw Council.
Wanda Traczyk-Stawska is the guest of honor of the plebiscite. Special words were spoken
At this year’s gala, the Warszawianka Generations – Wanda Traczyk-Stawska was also invented.
– I do what I was brought up to do. We are born to know better. Each of us has the strength to change this world, even by helping the weaker, by smiling at the sad ones.. I was interested in something that is for me. Each country will be as it educates its youth. Every human being is worthy of respect because they have their own view of the world, I must respect what every child sees. You couldn’t get the best of Czarnek – for the child to be in what he sees. You cannot be a part of a person’s life, only the good of the country. Without the awareness that every human being has their own dignity, without respect and tolerance, it is hard to be a citizen of the country. Children that this is the future of the nation, who bring up young people. You cannot close the law teacher to avoid mistakes and respect. All people have the same quality – that they have human dignity. Freedom is given once, not forever – you always have to fight for it. During the Uprising of Hope, she was a motive for us to act. Today’s person who can be sent, telling that they are alone during my Uprising – to defend their dignity and freedom. They need help to change everything that is impossible for them to do – lack of respect for another human being – noticed from the scenes of the Insurgent.
