Charlene of Monaco divine and framed by rugby players: as a protective husband, Albert watches
Sport is at the heart of almost all the couple outings of Prince Albert II and Charlene of Monaco for some time. After encouraging South Africa during the confrontation with the French team at the Marseille velodrome during the autumn tour, Charlène and Albert returned to the Rock for a rather special prize giving. For her sporting career, her involvement and her dedication to the cause on the Rock, the mother of Gabriella and Jacques, 7 years old, was awarded a medal by her husband. An honor for the former swimmer, satisfied to be able to contribute to the transmission of her passion for the sport.
It is therefore all smiles that this Sunday, November 20, only a few hours after the victory of the XV of France against Japan for the last match of the year, Charlène of Monaco, accompanied by Albert, attended the World Rugby Awards which took place within the Sporting Club de Monte-Carlo. The couple thus saw the Irishman Josh van der Flier named best world player of the year 2022 (equivalent to the golden ball won by Karim Benzema in football a little earlier in the year) in the presence of Bill Beaumont, Chairman of World Rugby.
Charlene, queen of the evening
All in elegance, Princess Charlene of Monaco stood out in a magnificent recycled outfit. To attend the award ceremony, Albert of Monaco’s wife opted for a classic white blouse, which she paired with a black satin XXL skirt and black pumps, both signed by Dior. It is with all the class that we know of her that the former swimmer went to meet the biggest players in the oval ball, under the protective gaze of her husband Prince Albert.
