Concert in LuxembourgDadju raised the temperature at the Rockhal
ESCH-BELVAL – Sunday evening, the Franco-Congolese chained his hits, taken up in chorus by 4000 unleashed fans.
It was not necessary to arrive late, Sunday evening, at the Rockhal. First scheduled last February, the Dadju concert began at 8 p.m. sharp. A schedule adapted to a young audience, who came in large numbers since 4,000 fans had made an appointment. It must be said that the success of the Franco-Congolese is dazzling. In five years, the 31-year-old singer has become one of the best-selling French-speaking artists.
Dadju offered himself a superstar arrival, at the heart of an imposing scenography, a guitar-bass-drums formation and his choristers. Sunglasses on the nose, of course at Gims, his brother. The latter may have had to slip him some advice on the show, as this one was on point.
“You’re going to sweat tonight and so am I”
“There is only one rule for taking part in the Cullinan Tour, which is to know all the lyrics by heart,” said Dadju. At the first notes of “Thank God”, we could verify that. The public was in fusion, singing the texts and shouting their joy.
Dadju made people dance to the summer sounds of “Mon Soleil”, sang about love (“Toko Toko”), complex relationships (“Amour Toxic”) but also about infidelity and betrayal. “Prince Dadj” even presented two former lovers in the audience to bring them up and explain themselves on stage. “You will sweat tonight and so will I,” he had promised. Promise kept, with total communion between Dadju and his fans.
