In F1, the FIA is ready to investigate the possible cheating of Perez in Monaco!
This is the aftermath of the Brazilian Grand Prix “affair” between Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez, the Dutchman refusing to let his team-mate pass to help him secure second place in the drivers’ standings. One thing I would say in all sincerity is that I’m not afraid to investigate or speak up if there’s a problem. I will not hide. I am ready to make amends and say if there is a problem with the FIA. We can imagine that in the event that Charles Leclerc fails against Sergio Perez on Sunday in his quest for the runners-up spot, then the Scuderia would consider filing a claim. Because Perez, winner of the Monaco F1 Grand-Prix in question, could then lose points and therefore restore second place in the championship to the Monegasque, on green carpet…
