The tricolor nuggets are in Rouen
The individual French championships for the 12-year-old and 13/14-year-old categories will take place from November 19 to 27 at the Rouen Tennis Club.
What if the next generation of Musketeers was in action this weekend near Rouen? On the occasion of the individual French championships, the best young tricolors in the 12 and 13/14 year old categories will be presented at the Rouen Tennis Club. This competition, supported by BNP Paribas, Wilson and Acadomia, brings together 32 players in each category, previously qualified via their league or having obtained a wild card. They will face off in a single-elimination bracket.
The Normans at the party?
A championship which takes place in Rouen, land of tennis. In 2021, the Normandy Tennis League had the pleasant surprise of seeing local Laura-Valentine Pop win in the 11/12 year old category. This year, this last review in the 13/14 year old girls category. Other representatives of the Normandy League, Arijan Kaliterna will contest the 13/14 year old boys event while the Norman champions, Elise Lesigne and Julian Chamballu, will play in the 12 year old category.
BNP Paribas at the heart of the event
This year, BNP Paribas has renewed the As du Cœur in the French FFT championships. As for the pros (during Roland-Garros, the Open 13 or the Open Parc de Lyon), ace will support the association Les Apprentis d’Auteuil which fights each time for the inclusion of young people. The evolution of the kitty, between November 19 and 27, will be followed on the We Are Tennis networks and via the #AcesDuCoeur.
