Computer Exam | Portugal New Energy Championship – PRIO is decided in Central Alentejo
The 2022 Portugal New Energies Championship ends next weekend, with the sixth and final stage of the competition taking place on the roads of Alentejo. The E-Rally Sharish stage starts on Saturday with the usual technical checks in the morning and an open display of the cars that will take part in the final race.
Then, during the first day, with departure scheduled for 1:30 pm, the cars will pass through emblematic places in the region such as Reguengos de Monsaraz, Alqueva, Aldeia da Luz and others. On Sunday, November 20, the engines start at 9:30 am in Reguengos de Monsaraz and pass through Montoito, Santa Susana and Redondo, to finish the race again in Reguengos.
The sixth stage sees the cars cover around 200 kilometers, of which 89 will be in selective sectors, in a test that is expected to be quite demanding both in terms of driving and navigation. The final classification of the Championship is completely open, which sets the bar very high for this stage.
The race is currently led by Eduardo Carpinteiro Albino and current champion Nuno Serrano is in second place. The two pilots must dispute the title of champion of this year.
The press release points out that “in addition to the various selective sectors that make up the two sections of the competition, the highlight on the 20th, at 11:30 am, will be the Power Stage Urbana, which will be played at Praça da República, in Redondo and after which the teams will return to Parque da Cidade, in Reguengos de Monsaraz, where the Sharish E-Rally – Alentejo Central and the 2022 edition of the Portuguese New Energy Championship – Prio will end”.
This year’s edition will feature six tastings, from Vila Nova de Gaia to Oeiras, passing through Proença-a-Nova, Azores and Lisbon and with the presence of Computer exam in some of these.
