In a rare photo, Albert of Monaco poses alongside his two grown children whom he had hidden
They have no title and do not designate the Monegasque order of succession. Alexandre Coste Grimaldi and Jazmin Grace are the eldest of the prince albert of monaco. The latter went to New York with his wife Charlene of Monacoat the annual Princess Grace Awards on November 3, 2022.
A first shot in trio
Four days later, on November 7, his ex-spouse, Nicole Coste, shared a snapshot of the prince with his two grown children on his private Instagram account. For the first time, the son of Grace Kelly appear on social media with his 30-year-old daughter and 19-year-old son.
When Albert II of Monaco recognized Alexandre Coste Grimaldi and Jazmin Grace
“Paternally king”, writes in legend the mother of Alexandre Coste. The young man was born of an out-of-wedlock union between Albert II and Nicole Coste, an air hostess at the time. His two parents met in 1997, on board a flight. Prince Rainier III, sovereign and father of Prince Albert of Monaco, did not support this idyll which lasted nearly five years.
Alexander’s father does not recognize him, but promises to support him financially. Two years after this birth, Nicole Coste reveals her story in the columns of Paris MatchRainier III dies, and just before being enthroned, Albert II finally publicly acknowledges being the biological father of Alexander, who, no longer having to hide, takes the name of Grimaldi.
A year passes and the world learns of the existence of another “illegitimate” child, eldest of Alexander: Jazmin Grace, born in 1992, from a 15-day relationship between the prince and Tamara Rotolo, at the waitress time on the Côte d’Azur. Raised in California by her American mother, Jazmin Grace had to wait for her 11 years to know her biological father, her 14 years for him to recognize her publicly.
At the beginning of January last, the 30-year-old became an actress and published an unpublished family portrait on her Instagram account: the four children of the prince gathered in the same photograph. There therefore appears Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella, born of his union with Charlene of Monaco in 2014, alongside the two eldest, who, unlike the young twins, cannot claim the Monegasque throne because they were “born out of wedlock”. Alexandre and Jazmin can however attend Monegasque events.
