The Crown: this nice gesture from Charles III towards the actor who will play his role
As reported by Sunthis Tuesday, November 1, the actor who will put himself in the shoes of Charles III in season 5 of The crown seems to have had the king’s approval to star in the series.
The historical series The crown, available on Netflix and created in 2016 by Peter Morgan and Stephen Daldry, is one of the successful programs on the platform. It must be said that in four seasons (the fifth will be available from November 9), the British royal family is embodied from all angles by many actors. Behind the scenes of English royalty and its main members are revealed, episode after episode, with some fictional additions to the story.
During season 5 of The crown, the character of King Charles III, still crown prince, will be played by British actor Dominic West. Like the rapporteur, our colleagues from Sunthis Tuesday, November 1, the latter declared to Radio schedules that the monarch gave him the “permission” to put himself in his shoes for the series. In addition, the actor had wondered if he should resign from son ambassador within one of its charities called “The Prince’s Trust” and founded in 1976to avoid everything “conflict of interest”. Prince Harry’s father and William would then have said to him: “You do what you want, you’re an actor. It has nothing to do with us.”

Camilla and her touch of humor
For her part, Queen Consort Camilla also doesn’t seem to have any problems with the role of Prince Charles, whom Dominic West plays in The crown. At a party last year, this one even had it called after learning he was going to step into her husband’s shoes on the screen. She had also made a joke by calling him “Your Majesty”. Enough to prove that the king and his wife do not take a dim view of the fact that the history of the British royal family is transcribed in this television fiction inspired by reality.
