Bathing establishments between Livorno and Pisa in the sights of Finance
Beyond 400 thousand of unpaid taxes in the coffers of local authorities. This is what emerges from the investigations conducted by the naval station of the Guardia di Finanza between the bathing establishments of Livorno and Pisa, most of which in the area between Calambrone, Tirrenia and Marina di Pisa. A picture that emerges in the context of a broad service activity in the sectors of the protection of the maritime state property and the correct discharge of local taxes in collaboration and in support of the Municipalities.
Undeclared work, 246 cases discovered in one year. Finance: “It is important to protect those who respect the rules”
Specifically, the checks concerned compliance with state-owned maritime concessions and the correct payment of the amounts relating to the maritime concession fee, as well as the payment of local taxes such as Imu, Tari and regional tax. The non-payment of the IMU for a total of 115 thousand euros, of the Tari for over 210 thousand euros and of the non-payment of state fees on state-owned maritime assets under concession for over 100 thousand euros was therefore ascertained. An operation that confirms the daily commitment of the Fiamme Gialle to protect local public budgets.
