Elena Mavridou continues her research in different from the usual stage ways. In Euripides’ “Alkistis” she experiments with paper figures created by herself, which are projected onto the wall through an epidiascope, the machine once used by school teachers to project slides. Together with Dimitris Lalos, Sotiris Tsakomidis, Dimitra Kouza, George Triantafyllidis and Stergios Kontakiotis, they present the enigmatic Euripidean tragedy on the border between theater and performance. The original music is by Giorgos Mavridis.
