Four weeks after the elections, it was possible to agree on a coalition that will govern in fourteen city districts. On Thursday, representatives of ODS, ANO, STAN and the Naše Čtrnáctka movement signed the coalition agreement. This was announced on social networks by the electoral leader of the ODS and current mayor Jiří Zajac, who should continue in office.
“After many days of negotiations with various entities, the continuation of the current coalition expanded by the independent movement Naše Ctrnáctka proved to be the best way. An agreement was reached regarding the program and personnel,” said Zajac.
On Monday, October 24, a new council will be elected at the constitutive meeting of the council. “I firmly believe that this time it will really be a full four years, unlike the last stormy election period,” said Zajac, who became the mayor of Prague 14 in the middle of last year, replacing Radek Vondra from TOP 09.
In December 2021, the coalition of TOP 09, ODS and Pirates fell apart due to internal disagreements. The new coalition was formed by ODS, STAN, KDU-ČSL and ANO.

The ODS with independent candidates won the September elections in Prague 14, and has seven mandates in the thirty-one-member council. The second ANO won five mandates. The group Neighbors for Prague 14, led by former mayor Vondra, has the same number.
Prague 14 has four mandates, Naše Čtrnáctka and Pirates have three each, and independents with the support of the Greens. The Srdcem pro Praha 14 group has two mandates, whose electoral leader was the former deputy mayor Zuzana Jelenová. Two mandates were captured by the SPD running with the Tricolor and independent candidates.
In the council, the coalition will have a majority of seventeen votes. Voter turnout in Prague 14 was only 37.23 percent, four years ago it was 39.13 percent.
