Fiddle aces win. The 31st edition of the Music Festival in Prague begins, Václav Hudeček and his guests
The opening gala concert will take place on Tuesday, October 25 in the Dvořák Hall of the Rudolfinum.
Popular concert series Festivals of music in Prague, Václav Hudeček and his guests, is entering its thirty-first season. It will be carried as a sign of the celebration of an important jubilee. Václav Hudecekthe doyen of the cycle and one of the leading Czech violinists of the entire history to date, is celebrating his seventies and at the same time 55 years of active artistic activity.
Birthday parties break out 25th of October traditionally in Dvořák’s Rudolfinum Hall, when Václav Hudeček will come to wish violinist personalities of the younger generation, who shine with success on the domestic and world stage and who in many cases met Václav Hudeček as his students. The congratulators will be none other than Josef Spacek, Jan Mracek AND Jiří Vodička, which will be supported by another of the cycle’s regular guests – a violist Christina cellist Petr Nouzovskýcellist Ivan Vokáčpianist Lukáš Klansky AND Czech Radio Symphony Orchestrawhose management he will undertake Robert Kružík.
The cycle’s birthday menu also appeals to the boys’ choir St. Florian Sängerknaben from Upper Austria, meeting a whole range of young talents, including orchestral ensembles Prague Conservatory or presentation of works by contemporary young Czech composers. And there will also be a final, more popularly tuned dot, which we will take special care of next season Hradišťan Jiří Pavlica together with his son Lukaswinner of the 25th year of the Hudečkov Luhačovice Academy.
The cycle will be offered from October to April seven concerts and in addition to the Rudolfinum, the Prague Conservatory Hall, the Žofín Palace or the Bethlehem Chapel are also traditionally resounding. The Music Festival promises a great birthday celebration for Václav Hudeček with a varied program, which he will once again present on the concert stage and present to his audience the exceptional talents of the upcoming generation of Czech musicians.
