At least three high schools in the Métropole de Lyon were the target of blockages by students this Wednesday morning. Two arrests took place in front of the Condorcet high school in Saint-Priest.
The blockages of establishments continued this Wednesday morning in the Lyon Metropolis the day after the national strike movement which found a strong echo within professional high schools in particular, which denounce a reform to come. At least three high schools were disrupted in the early morning: the Faÿs high school in Villeurbanne, the Monplaisir-Lumière high school, in the 8th arrondissement, and the Condorcet high school in Saint-Priest.
Three unfavorable high schools
The situation turned out to be particularly tense in front of this last establishment where, according to our information, two people were arrested for having thrown projectiles at the police, who notably used tear gas.
Shortly before 10:30 a.m., the situation tended to calm down according to state services. However, these incidents continue to disrupt the traffic of the T2 tramway, which has not served the Technological Park stations in Saint-Priest Bel Air since 8:44 in both directions. The resumption of traffic is expected around 12:30 p.m. according to TCL.

At the Monplaisir-Lumière high school in the 8th arrondissement, after the first incidents on Tuesday, trash cans and shopping carts were again burned this morning in front of the establishment, according to witnesses. CRS and firefighters intervened shortly before 8 a.m. to extinguish the start of the fire and restore calm in front of the school.
