POLITICS IN THEIR OWN WORDS Greens for Prague 6 on their Facebook on October 17 to the new town hall
We have signed a coalition agreement!
In the years 2022-2026, Jakub Starek (ODS) will be the mayor of Prague 6. Petr Palacký will become councilor for environment and climate.
Statutory deputy mayor Petr Prokop (STAN), deputy mayor Mariana Čapková (Prague 6 each), deputy mayors Václav Koženy (ODS) and Marián Hošek (KDU-ČSL) and councilors Zdeněk Hlinský (ODS), Ondřej Matěj Hrubeš ( ODS) and Jan Lacina (STAN).
“Prague 6 has long been perceived as the greenest part of the city, but such a statement must not let us rest on our laurels. Climate change presents us with a new kind of problem that we cannot turn a blind eye to. It is more than obvious that greenery in the city does not only have an aesthetic function, but has direct life-giving effects – among other things, cooling the city. I am therefore glad that the new coalition has the fulfillment of the climate plan as one of its main priorities,” says Petr Palacký.
