Election 2022 | Prague 21 – Újezd nad Lesy: Milan Samec (ODS) old new mayor
Milan Samec (ODS) became the mayor of Prague 21 for the second consecutive term, representatives decided today at a meeting. Malec sat at the head of the town hall after the elections in 2018. He was voted for the first time by 14 of the 17 representatives present. The municipal elections in Prague 21 were won by the candidate of the ODS and TOP 09-Společné pro Újezd, who won a majority of approximately 56.76 percent of the votes. Prague 21 includes the cadastral territory of Újezd nad Lesy.
“I would like to thank the entire club for ODS and TOP 09 for the trust and nomination and I appreciate it very much,” said Samec before the election. The representatives also elected two deputy mayors, which became Michal Hazdra (ODS) and Lucie Filipinská (TOP 09). Alena Motejlová (ODS) and Libor Václavík (ODS) were elected councilors who completed the five-member council of the municipal district.
According to the newly elected councilors, the management of the municipal district wants to focus on, for example, in the following period management and reduction of current expenses, development of educationwhen they would like to promote the establishment of a secondary school in Újezd, they will solve the problem of parking at the railway station in Prague – Klánovice or they will support the establishment of a family center for mothers with children.
In the elections, the winning candidate ODS and TOP 09-Společné pro Újezd won 11 mandates in the council, which has 17 members. The second ended with ANO with three mandates. The third Újezd lives (STAN, Pirates) will have two representatives, the fourth Open Újezd has one mandate. 51.86 votes were cast.
