After weeks of delay, the work is finally finished! the Olhain park belvederea Maisnil-les-Ruitzserums this Friday October 21, 2022. This huge structure will also become the highest point of Pas-de-Calais.
A zip line and slides
The belvedere rises to 221 meters high and narrowly exceeds the former highest point of the department, the Pyramid of Alquines. The imposing tower offers “a breathtaking view of the mining basin, the hills of Artois and the mountains of Flanders”, assures the Department of Pas-de-Calais in a press release.
But you can do more than admire the view. Indeed, the belvedere has a 564-meter zip line that can reach 85km/h and two slides that will surely be very popular with children.
Suspended nets, four-season tobogganing, miniature golf, enchanted village, swimming pool, restaurant… Olhain Park offers a multitude of activities, reinforced by its status as a must-see tourist spot in the department. The belvedere will be open to the public from this Saturday.
