Siena, city council approves the change in the budget
The city council, meeting today, Tuesday 18 October, approved the change to the budget for 2022-2024, pursuant to article 175 of the Tuel. The document, which passed with eighteen votes in favor and seven against out of a total of twenty-five municipal councilors present, was illustrated by the councilor for the budget of the Municipality of Siena Luciano Fazzi.
“The change in the balance sheet – explained the commissioner Fazzi, like others presented, concerns both changes in the current portion and in investments”. Among the aspects contained in the document, the commissioner highlighted how the “Mps Foundation has co-financed a series of Pnrr interventions for which funding was provided through the use of free surplus. This made it possible to free up resources for about 735 thousand euros, which were allocated for some interventions, including 250 thousand euros spent for Christmas 2022, 50 thousand euros for the contribution for the use of the swimming pools, 50 thousand otherwise a swimming pool “.
“With regard to the 2023 financial year – continued Fazzi – we make two considerations. The first concerns the relocation of some interventions, relating to projects financed by the NRP, from 2022 to 2023, after the completion of the works that were initially included in 2022. In addition, a contribution of one million euros was allocated to cover expensive users of the families and businesses “.
