Globus opened a Fresh store in Prague 13, a small format for everyday shopping
The globe continues to expand. In Prague 13, he opened a small-format Fresh store, where he will offer a wide range of products from his own production, selected from the range of private brands.
Globus opened a store in the Fresh concept in Petržílkova Street in Prague’s Stodůlky. On an area of 238 square meters, customers can choose from a wide range of fresh butchery and bakery products of their own production, ready meals from the restaurant, fruit and vegetables, products from the healthy world range and colonial goods.
“In small stores, we bring our assortment closer to people in their place of residence. In this store, people can buy food from fresh baked goods for breakfast to a hearty lunch to a tasty dinner. These are high-quality foods from our bakers, butchers and chefs. From Fresh, customers can also take away fresh coffee in a cup or a straight hot lunch in a box. she said Aneta Turnovská, press spokesperson for Globus. She added that the store is directly connected to the hypermarket in Prague’s Zličín, from which it is always supplied with fresh goods. At Globus Fresh in Stodůlky, customers will find a pastry and confectionery counter, a self-service zone and self-service checkouts.
Opening hours of Globus Fresh Prague 13:
Monday to Saturday 7 a.m. to 9 p.m
Sunday 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.
The company Globus currently operates fifteen large-format hypermarkets with its own bakery, confectionery and butchery production. At the same time, it has sixteen restaurants that are part of these large stores. Nový Globus opened a restaurant in the EUROPARK shopping center in Prague’s Štěrboholy, where a new large-format hypermarket is also set to open next year.
As part of the Fresh concept, it has been successfully operating small-format stores since 2018 on an area of 200 square meters of shops in Pardubice in the Dubina housing estate. This is the second smaller store in this concept in Prague’s Stodůlky.
