It’s only been a few days since the organization I Am Fighter (IAF) announced its gala evening, which it is producing on November 5 in Prague’s Královka hall. Now comes another interesting announcement – for the first time at the IAF gala evening, David Sparťan Hošek (7-3-1) from Prague will present himself.
The weekend before last, 29-year-old Hošek presented himself for the second time under the banner of the RFA organization in Košice. And while he was able to defeat the Pole Bartlomiej Gladkowicz in the March “Warm-Up”, he lost 0-3 on points to the Serbian Nenad Avramovic on Saturday.
“Pín (Petr Ondruš, IAF promoter) and I agreed earlier that I could have a match at the IAF. And now when the offer came, coach David Vyvážil and I didn’t hesitate for a minute. I want to adjust my mood and where else than at home in Prague?” outlined to Renegade Prague Gym (RPG) that the meeting was not difficult.
Among other things, thanks to the cooperation of the IAF and the RFA. “Píno and David (Vavážil) called me. They told me that David left the match without injury, he can start training right away, moreover, he is dissatisfied with his performance, which was also reflected in the result. They asked me what I thought about the idea that he would fight at home, and I said that it is OK in the long term. We cooperate with Pín, we have quality fighters coming to us from this organization, the agreement was simple,” said RFA promoter Boris Marhanský.
At the same time, he revealed that it does not have to be all within the framework of a mutual agreement. “Will the fans see anyone else from the RFA family at the gala evening at Královka? That’s a question for Pín, but I can reveal that we have one joint event planned shortly before this gala evening,” added Marhanský.
So what was heard from the IAF chief? “We have one more bombshell ready regarding the gala, but we will reveal it later. As well as the name of David’s opponent, which is already known, but there is still time for that,” said Ondruš.
But back to Hošek. Of course, Ondruš is extremely happy about his participation, as he is very well aware of the quality of the former boxing representative and a big Spartan fan.
“David is an attractive wrestler with the biggest grenade in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, who is returning to the home audience after more than a year. As soon as this opportunity appeared, I did not hesitate,” he entices fans to buy tickets, which are already available on the Ticketportal network.
It goes without saying that the striker, who became a father on August 3 when his partner Anet Cenklová gave birth to a healthy daughter Vivien, will be in great shape. “I’m really looking forward to Královka, it’s a great hall, I know it from other events. I train more or less all the time, I like the pace, training, matches, I want to take advantage of the hard preparation for the RFA, where I didn’t succeed. I already have another one in mind match, but rather after the new year,” added Hošek.
