The rector of UAV, Ramona Lile, a tour of duty in the Republic of Moldova – Special Arad · latest news from Arad
Communication. The delegation of “Aurel Vlaicu” University from Arad is currently in the Republic of Moldova. The rector of UAV, Ramona Lile, accompanied by the director of the Department for Teaching Staff Training, Ovidiu Toderici, had a series of meetings with the rectors of three universities in Moldova, with a view to establishing partnerships.
Cristian Denis Bot, advisor to the mayor of Arad, was also part of the Arad delegation.
In this tour of force, the representatives of Arad were accompanied by Iurie Calestru, director of the Institute for Development and Expertise of Projects from the Republic of Moldova, and Elena Mărgineanu, member of the Board of Directors (IDEP).
Three universities, many opportunities
The rector of UAV visited the State University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Nicolae Testemițanu” where he had a meeting with the rector of USMF, Prof. Emil Ceban. The discussions focused on the identification and development of joint projects to attract European funds.
The program of the visit to the Republic of Moldova also included the “Ion Creangă” State Pedagogical University in Chisinau, where the delegation from Arada had a meeting with the rector of the university, Alexandra Barbăneagra and the vice-rector for scientific activity and international relations, Ludmila Armașu.
The rector of UAV also discussed opportunities for future collaborations with the rector of the International Free University, Ilian Galben.
“I had a very busy schedule, but every meeting opened up new perspectives, new opportunities. All discussions focused on the development of collaborations that would not allow access to European funds. Mr. Denis Bot, the advisor to the mayor of Arad, was also happy with us, and we are convinced that this is a good start for the development of bilateral relations. We invited the rectors to visit us in Arad and I believe that each meeting will not bring us closer to our common goal: accessing European funds”, said the rector of UAV, Ramona Lile.
