Hard Rock Cafe Prague once again dedicates the entire month of October to the Pinktober charity campaign
Hard Rock International continues to support breast cancer awareness and research through its 23rd PINKTOBER charity campaign. Throughout October, Hard Rock Cafe Prague will participate in the fundraising efforts that it will support this year Alliance for Women with Breast Cancer. Guests can contribute by purchasing a limited offer of merch, as well as a menu prepared by Michelin-starred chef Dominique Crenn. Pinktober culminates in a charity concert and auction at the end of October.
“At Hard Rock Cafe Prague, we are proud to continue to support those affected by breast cancer, from current patients and survivors to their caregivers and loved ones,” says the manager of Hard Rock Cafe Praha, the general manager Martin Lednová. “At the same time, we are very happy that this year we can support the Alliance of Women with Breast Cancer and their clients who need it.”
All divisions of the company, from restaurants to casinos worldwide, are participating in the campaign with local events. Hard Rock Cafe Praha will be selling special merch including a pin, cap and T-shirt until the end of October. Ten percent of sales will go to the Women’s Breast Cancer Alliance. Guests will be able to order a special limited offer of shrimp tacos and the signature Mexican tequila drink Paloma, prepared by a French Michelin-starred chef Dominique Crenn. A portion of the profits from food sales and also to the foundation.
A singer’s concert is also planned Andrey Kalousová, which will take place 25th of October. After the singer, a popular stand-up comedian will perform Adela Elbel. Admission to the event will be voluntary and all profits will be donated by HRC to the Alliance for Women with Breast Cancer. There will be a silent auction of specially designed breast mugs worn by important Czech personalities. The entire program starts at 8 p.m.
Over the past 22 years of the Pinktober campaign, Hard Rock has donated millions of dollars to breast cancer research. In 2000, Hard Rock raised more than $700,000, marking the company’s largest start since the 00 program.
A partnership with Chef Dominuque Crenn
This year, Hard Rock has partnered with world-renowned French chef and breast cancer survivor Dominique Crenn, who is currently the only female chef in the United States and has earned three Michelin stars for her Atelier Crenn restaurant in San Francisco, California. Crenn has created a limited-time item for Hard Rock that is exclusively available at Hard Rock restaurants worldwide, with a portion of the proceeds going to a local breast cancer charity. Crenn will also host a series of curated dinners at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood and Hard Rock Hotel New York for fellow breast cancer survivors, their caregivers and supporters of the American Cancer Society.
Limited edition PINKTOBER merch
Each year, Hard Rock International offers unique limited edition merchandise to support breast cancer awareness and research, which includes a Pinktober themed Hard Rock t-shirt, cap, water bottle, tote bag and pin. Thanks to the Hard Rock Heals Foundation, a portion of the proceeds will benefit a local breast cancer charity.
Dominique Crenn growing up in Brittany, France, she developed an interest in cooking thanks to her parents who loved good food. Driven by her passion, Dominuque opened the restaurant Atelier Crenn, owned by a three-Michelin star chef.
