Citizens’ Registration Office Bemerode Improved range of services – Discover Hanover …
The state capital of Hanover has expanded the Bemerode Citizens Registration Office. Instead of four operator stations and one temporary workplace as before, eight bright and modern operator stations are now available. In addition, a barrier-free information store was set up for advice, support and the completion of numerous so-called short-term concerns. This includes, for example, collecting documents or applying for a certificate of good conduct.
The staff was increased by four people, the capacity increases by around 300 possible appointments per week.
Citizens can contact any citizen’s office in Hanover with their claim, regardless of where they live. A selected range of services is only available at the so-called training citizen’s office at Schützenplatz, which is regularly adapted to meet needs and training.
After the ID weeks, current driving license applications are the focus of processing there.
To book an appointment, it is helpful to look at the online appointment calendar at 8 a.m.: Appointments are activated on a daily basis and two days in advance, so that it is also possible to get appointments at short notice. Spontaneous visits without an appointment are always possible on Thursdays, although a waiting time should be planned for at certain peak times.
The city offers a special service for collecting documents: if you don’t want to visit the Citizens’ Registration Office a second time, you can have the documents delivered directly to your workplace or home by bicycle courier for an additional fee.
