The Agir à Lyon festival, dedicated to ecology, returns this Sunday

At the Maison des Rancy, the Anciela association is organizing its Act festival in Lyon this Sunday. An event designed to “build an ecological Lyon region”.
The Anciela association, publisher of the Agir à Lyon guide, and which works in the service of ecological transition, is organizing the third edition of its Agir à Lyon festival, until 6 p.m. at the Rancy house (Lyon 3rd). A day designed to help Lyonnaises and Lyonnais find concrete solutions in order to act for more ecology and solidarity.
On the program, a plenary conferenceReinventing work in the service of transition” will be held at 11 a.m. Five other thematic conferences will take place in the presence of people in the field such as Pierre Athanaze, vice-president of the Metropolis, in order to address key subjects: citizen composting, reception of migrants, collective feasts to be done move municipalities, digital sobriety and greening of cities.
Exhibitions, walks and meetings
Meetings with 40 local associations are also held in order to address major issues relating to the climate, the economy and food. The opportunity to learn about the concrete actions to take to act around your home, through gestures of energy sobriety, good to know as winter approaches. To discover the inspiring initiatives of the district, as well as the corners of nature in the city, the association has also imagined discovery walks, scheduled throughout the day, with the association Nature et sens, the Vol’Terre gardens and the AMAP association with friends.
In parallel with these events, two exhibitions will be accessible: a fresco of the climate in “quiz” format to learn more about the mechanisms of climate change, and an exhibition which invites you to discover the actors and actresses of the transition in Lyon 8th.
