a “solidarity march” to help fight hunger in the world
Crawl for a few kilometers in the Dijon hills for a noble cause, anyone? Sunday October 9, 2022, the Dijon delegation of the NGO Action against Hunger
organize for the first time a solidarity march
on the trails of the Combe-à-la-Serpent. Two courses are proposed, one of five kilometers, the other of eleven.
A first in Dijon
This event is unique. “It’s a first for us but it has been developed by other delegations in the rest of France, for example in the North”, confirms Kévin Jacquot, volunteer for the association in Dijon. It is also a way of diversifying to attract donations, in a period of inflation where there are many crises and causes to support. “We need to multiply the opportunities for collecting donations, and the strengthening of crises, in particular inflation, we bring to having to allocate more budget for our missions”, he confirms.
