A life among teachers – Liechtenstein
SCHAAN – Valentina Pauger feels pure joy when she receives the promise to do an internship at her former primary school. Who doesn’t want to be a teacher and call the shots in a classroom? This may be Valentina’s dream and full of curiosity Valentina started her adventure at the primary school in Schaan as an assistant as part of the “company and social internship” project.
The anticipation is great.
Introducing yourself in front of a whole class isn’t always easy on the nerves, but that’s exactly what Valentina had to do on Monday morning. She has always had an interest in working with children and the internship is a wonderful opportunity to do so. Assuming Valentina, the first three days were already a great experience and she learned a lot of new things. There are also some differences in teaching since she was in primary school. For example, the second level is mixed with the third and the fourth with the fifth. The students are now working more independently and some are even using iPads. Valentina finds that the students are surprisingly well-behaved and that it is also very interesting to be in the staff room with the teachers during the breaks.
Maybe you’ll see her there more often soon?
