Jihostroj needs fans now. The line-up will probably not be 100%, Zlín has strengthened
Jihostroj lost in Prague. Today from 18.00 guests in Sportovní hale Zlín. “We need fans, Zlín has strengthened a lot, it won’t be an easy match at all,” cheer the players.
In Prague, where the Lions won clearly 3:0, České Budějovice played with a significantly weakened lineup. Giraudo, libero Kryštof, blocker Sedláček and sweeper Šulista were missing. Unfortunately, the information from the Jihostroje staff is too favorable. The message from the players of the entire South Bohemian region has all the more weight: “We will need our fans, Zlín will certainly be very dangerous.”
The world championship awaits them in November, now the club has brought two silver medals
It seems that neither Giarudo nor Sedláček will be involved in today’s match, so it is assumed that the blockers Ondrovič and Polák will get the confidence and Ondřej Piskáček will take the post of recorder.
What was heard after the match in Prague:
René Dvořák (coach of VK Jihostroj České Budějovice): We started well, our game was decorated with quality defense. However, we ran into problems in two positions. We didn’t pass Prague’s lighter serve well and left the opponent with a series of serves. Then, after a worse reception, we recorded even more poorly, thus the attack is more difficult against a prepared defense. We have a younger team and unfortunately, in big moments, the turning point suddenly comes. We make mistakes, we have to try to play better.
Martin Liček (captain of VK Jihostroj České Budějovice): The match was decided by the attack, in which we were literally tragic. We have to evaluate our performance and pick ourselves up. We can’t play like this. Congratulations to the Lions on a well-deserved win.
