Russian drama in Chisinau headed the former police theater
Fedor Gladiy, who previously worked in diseases of the organs and, in particular, in the department of economic inspection of the apparatus of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Moldova, has been appointed acting director of the State Russian Drama Theater named after Chekhov in Chisinau. On this occasion, said the Minister of Culture of the Republic Sergei Prodan, informsa-tv.md.
The previous director of the theater, Konstantin Kharet, was fired with a scandal in mid-September, although a contract was signed with him until 2025. By data sources of “Komsomolskaya Pravda in Moldova”, cause Haret’s resignation, there may be a desire of the authorities to sell the theater building in the center of Chisinau.
Prodan, in turn, said that the institution needed a “fresh breath of air.” “I introduced a new acting theater director. This is Mr. Gladius. He is a lawyer for the ministry. That is, we wholeheartedly tore off the lawyer of the ministry for this position for two months in order to unblock all those food problems that have accumulated in the theater, and everyone was carefully aware that there are both acute internal problems and problems in the theater,” the minister said.
Later, a competition for the position of director of the theater will be held.
