“Portugal de Lés-a-Lés Off Road” ended at Praia de Monte Gordo
The arrival of the 7th edition of “Portugal de Lés-a-Lés Off Road” took place this Tuesday, October 4, at Monte Gordo beach.
The initiative started on the 1st, in Mirandela, passed through Tábua and Arronches, and ended in the municipality of Vila Real de Santo António.
The event brought together around 400 motorcyclists who were received by Ricardo Cipriano, vice president of the VRSA City Council. Next to the goal, with a route along the Monte Gordo waterfront, the mayor welcomed all the participants and thanked the organization for having chosen Monte Gordo to end the trip.
The “Portu de Lés-aL Off Road” is an annual motorcycle touring event that since 2015, combines physical resistance and adventure to the tourist mountain, with the aim of crossing Portugal from objective to dirt roads, contemplating landscapes and places of enormous splendor.

This is the 4th edition of the Awareness Campaign to Reforest Portugal from Lés-a-Lés, which aims to raise awareness of careful reforestation of the national forest, using trees of native species.
In the municipality of Vila Real de Santo António, the following schools were planted with trees: Escola de Santo António (50 cypress trees), Escola de Monte Gordo (6 stone pines) and Escola Manuel Cabanas (3 stone pines). The initiative took place with the presence of the vice president of CM VRSA, Ricardo Cipriano, and the councilor responsible for education, Conceição Pires.
