Toulouse. What do you think the Montpellier ultras arrested at the Stadium on Sunday?
The “agitated” supporters will have to answer after the incidents of the Ligue 1 match Toulouse-Montpellier this Sunday. The meeting had to be stopped for 15 minutes due to the excesses of the MHSC ultras. About fifteen individuals were arrested, confirmed Toulouse public prosecutor Samuel-Vuelta Simon on Monday.
Apart from three minors, all the respondents live near Montpellier. “Neuf is accused of the introduction and use of fireworks in a sports arena, whether explosive or not”, the individuals were brought before the Toulouse prosecutor’s office on Monday “to be judged” in the context of a guilty plea procedure (CRPC). The prosecution will request a stadium ban.
Two other Montpellier supporters had their police custody extended on Monday for introducing fireworks but also “violence against law enforcement officers at the time of their arrest.”
Then, three Toulouse minors aged 13, 14, and 16 were arrested for using smoke bombs: they were handed over to their parents and will be summoned on Wednesday.
In parallel “two surveys will be conducted” and will last longer. The first for facts of “violence and degradation”: this concerns the fight at the Stadium bar reserved for Montpellier fans. The second for the throwing of detonating bombs on the supporters of the TFC.
