On Monday, China convincingly defeated Slovenia 3-0 at the Men’s World Team Table Tennis Championship in Chengdu, southwest China’s Sichuan province.
In the first round, the world number one player Fan Zhendong from China defeated Deni Kožul from Slovenia 11-7, 11-6 and 11-5.
Then the Chinese Wang Chuqin continued his victory, defeating Darko Jorgić 11-6, 7-11, 11-7 and 11-9 in the second round.
In the last round, Chinese Ma Long sealed the victory with 11-8, 11-5 and 11-4 over Slovenian Tilen Cvetko.
Team China will face Team Thailand in the men’s competition on Tuesday.
