These are the car sales figures for the three quarters of 2022 in the Netherlands
Get away quickly, don’t you? The first three quarters of this year are over and so it is a good time to look back at the car sales figures in the first nine months of 2022. To get straight to the point: it is a bit disappointing. 10,845 fewer new cars were registered than in the same period of 2021.
At Kia they can have a party. Just like last year, they have the master registrations in their name. In addition, they still sold 663 more cars in 2022 than in 2021. At Lotus they are currently decorating the party. They have not yet been able to deliver new cars, so the counter for the whole of 2022 is still at zero.
Car sales figures of the supercars
Ferrari sold 61 cars and 18 wore the 812 badge. The Urus has also been sold in the Netherlands, although the Huracán comes close with 13 copies purchased. The Porsche Taycan is the second best-selling Porsche behind the Cayenne. We are curious about what the fully electric Macan will do soon.
At Aston, the Vantage (11) is most often followed by the Speedster (five!) and the DBS with four. Bentley sold 56 Contis and 45 Bentaygas. At Tesla, the roles have reversed between the Model 3 and Model Y. In 2021, there were 476 new Ys and 1,483 new 3s registered in the first nine months, this year there are 1,467 new Model Ys and 506 new Model 3s.
