A Jesina with full marks in the final exam against Venezia
Third win out of three and second clean sheet of the season for a Jesina who really seems to like us. First Orvieto, then the Centro Storico Lebowski, then Riccione on the last day, a challenge that for some time now has almost taken on the appearance of a derby. The match against the Romagna has again highlighted the character of the young lions, who immediately started off on the right foot by hitting a crossbar on a free kick with Modesti and scoring with Crocioni, but with the goal canceled for dubious offside position. However, it is the one-two that becomes decisive shortly after halfway through the second half: in the 70th minute Jesina takes the lead after a percussion by Fontana that thanks to a defensive inattention signs the 1-0, and six minutes later finds the 2- 0 with Berti in the 76th minute – in his fourth center of the season – who guesses the winning deviation from a corner kick.
Now, for the training of Mister Baldarelli, the time has come to face a real maturity exam. On Sunday, in fact, the leoncelle will face Venice, one of the most accredited formations for the jump in the category, fresh from the home misstep against Bologna. Together with Merano – with full points with Jesina and Lumezzane and still at zero conceded – at Vicenza and Bologna, the Venetians have the quality and experience to aim high, in a group B which, moreover, many like the most competitive goal. Together with the “big” of the tournament there are also the red and white, which could play the role of revelation of the championship and enter the fight for the first squares. Ed Match
