San Marino. Shooting World Championships without sharp for the Titans
The Skeet Shooting World Championship in Osijek, Croatia, ended with mixed results for the blue and white colors. In both individual and mixed team races scheduled for today, the titans failed to reach the semi-finals.
Manuel Mancini, returned to international activity this year, remained for only one target out of the shoot off. He is done with 119/125, paying a 22 in the last series, after being in fifth position at the end of the first day (23, 24, 25, 25 and 22 the scores of the individual series). Always in the male trap Gian Marco Berti closes with 114/125, alternating good and less good scores.
In the female trap Alessandra Perilli she starts and closes in a big way (24 and 25 scores), but in the central series she collects three 21s that exclude her from the fight for medals.
The goal was above all to gain experience for the very young girl Martina Toniniwhich ends with 93 targets hit, highlighting itself with good scores on the second day of competition.
Today Berti and Perilli are back on the platform for mixed team. Seventy targets hit by Perilli, 64 for Berti, for a total of 134/150 which is not enough for entry into the final.
The long competitive season of the biancazzurri ends with the World Cup and they are now recovering their energy in view of the important events of next year.
