“Sweet is the Swamp with its Secrets”, understand “Sweetness is a swamp with its secrets”. This is the name of the new exhibition currently hosted by the Hauser & Wirth gallery. An exhibition of the works of American artist Roni Horn, which offers a selection of photos and sculptures.
Self-portraits, photos of celebrities, such as Isabelle Huppert, images requested in Iceland, where she stayed for her studies, or phallic shots: the exhibition explores the terms of desire and sexuality.

The artist’s works are juxtaposed with six excerpts from the film Character, directed by Ingmar Bergman in 1966, projected onto the walls. The idea is to highlight the work of Roni Horn, through the prism of cinema. The film will also be broadcast in full during an evening during the month of October.
The exhibition will remain in place until December 17.
