The President of the Parliament described the Hungarian-Turkish bilateral relations as excellent, and the parties were strengthened during this visit as well. He also mentioned that last year the trade turnover between the two countries reached a record. He also mentioned that the leaders of the two countries will hold a strategic council meeting soon.
László Kövér indicated that he gratefully accepted the official invitation of the President of the National Assembly to visit Turkey. In connection with this, the friendly departments and parliamentary committees will also meet each other.

Cooperation between Turkey and Hungary in the political, economic and trade fields is very good
– said the Turkish politician.
The Hungarian-Turkish will be a hundred years old friendly cooperation
The President of the National Assembly called it important that Hungary realistically approaches the problems related to the Russian-Ukrainian war. He expressed special thanks for Hungary’s support of Turkey’s EU accession application.
Mustafa Sentop recalled that in December 1923, the Republic of Turkey signed the first cooperation agreement with Hungary. Next year this friendly cooperation will be 100 years old, and
2024 was designated as the Turkish-Hungarian cultural year
– reported the President of the National Assembly, who expects that the two people’s programs will further strengthen the good relations to be arranged.
