Snail operation this Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in Toulouse
The federations of employers in the medico-social sector are demanding the application of the commitments of the State, for the revaluation of the salaries of the personnel. “Some trades are completely forgotten from the revaluations, are not part of the list. For others, the State is committed, but the departmental councils which must finance, answer that they did not receive the money. This poses huge problems of attractiveness and recruitment in certain trades, ”explains a spokesperson for Fehap Occitanie, a federation of employers which weighs 21,200 jobs in the region.
Demonstration Thursday at 2 p.m. on the boulevards
The next day, Thursday September 29, will be a day of interprofessional strike, and demonstration for the purchasing power and the revaluation of wages, at the call of an inter-union CGT, Solidaires, FSU in particular. In Toulouse, the procession will leave at 2 p.m. from Arnaud-Bernard, heading for the War Memorial.
Disruptions could take place in schools, in particular, but also in public health services.
“The government measures announced on purchasing power are below the situation of impoverishment of the population, denounces the inter-union. The law passed this summer is content to put a few patches and, through exemptions from contributions, cuts the salary, weakening social protection.
