Toulouse: we explain to you what this luminous line was reported this Monday evening in the sky
Monday evening, in the Toulouse region, a mysterious luminous line appeared in the sky. It could be the Starlink satellite train.
The show surprises them. This Monday evening around 9:15 p.m., while they were walking their dogs in Léguevin, near Toulouse, Julie and Vincent saw a “bright line” in the sky. “Dozens of small lights followed, describes the couple. We saw this trail for a minute or two. Then the bright spots gradually went out. The two Léguvinois pull out their phones and take a few shots of this mysterious luminous line.
“When photographing the phenomenon, we wondered if it was not a meteorite or the probe called Dart, which was to hit an asteroid. After some research, we realized that the time did not correspond”, says Julie and Vincent who make sure that it is the “first time that they have seen something like that”.

A phenomenon observed in the region
This light trail could be the constellation of Starlink satellites, supposed to offer a broadband connection from space, produced by SpaceX. In recent months, Elon Musk’s company has multiplied launches. According to the Find Starlink mobile application, the satellite train was actually visible from Toulouse and its suburbs this Monday evening, September 26, around 9 p.m. It will again be observable in the sky for the next few days.
In the area, other residents were able to see the Starlink satellites. At the beginning of September, “La Dépêche du Midi”, tells the story of Didier, a resident of Martinique who observed a strange ballet in the night in the Hautes-Pyrénées. He compared the show to a “flying train”.
A few days earlier, it was above Larzac that a “plane that was shooting a garland of light” was seen by a resident reporting our colleagues from La République des Pyrénées. Elon Musk, this intriguing UFO…
