The Monaco application Carlo arrives in Aix en Provence
They allow users to receive 5% cash back on their purchases made in local businesses.
The ascent continues for Carlo! After Valladolid in Spain last year, the Monegasque application, created by Antoine Bahri in 2019, disappeared in Aix-en-Provence on September 15. In this city in the south of France, around fifty signatory businesses have already adopted Carlo App, the aim of which is to revitalize the local economy.
” We are in the first steps of our expansion”confides Antoine Bahri on the site of Monaco Gazette. The founder does not explain himself wanting to expand too quickly to build solid foundations. If he was referring at the time to a development in a Polish city, he must have “relocate” its projects, given the current geopolitical context.
At Monaco, 450 businesses and 35,000 users have adopted Carlo, to the delight of local public authorities who would promote local trade. As such, they regularly use the application, in particular to win gift vouchers. In the Principality, the Prince’s Government has, for example, decided to cover the costs of the application platform (usually borne by establishments), via the Red and White Fund.
