Ten candidate lists applied for the elections in the fourteenth city district in the east of Prague. Eight of them succeeded, so the composition of the council will be varied. She won ODS with independent candidates, she has seven mandates.
The leader of the winner of the election is the current mayor Jiří Zajac. “Thank you to all the voters who came on Friday and Saturday and gave us their vote and so much trust. We will inform you immediately about the results of the post-election negotiations,” he wrote on his Facebook profile the day after the elections.
The second ANO, which is part of the existing coalition at the town hall, won five mandates. The group Neighbors for Prague 14, led by the former mayor of Prague 14 Radek Vondra, who was replaced by Zajac in the middle of last year, has the same number.
Prague 14 has four mandates, Naše Čtrnáctka and Pirates have three each, and independents with the support of the Greens.
The Srdcem pro Praha 14 group has two mandates, whose electoral leader was the former deputy mayor Zuzana Jelenová. Two mandates were captured by the SPD running with the Tricolor and independent candidates.
Voter turnout in Prague 14 was only 37.23 percent, four years ago it was 39.13 percent, which is also not great. In Prague, participation in the elections to the Prague council this year was 43.91 percent.
