le voleur de sac à main rattrapé par sa victime
By SudOuest.fr
A duo attacked two women seated on the terrace, in the center of Bordeaux, Saturday, September 24, in the evening. While one diverted their attention, the other grabbed a bag from a chair. But he didn’t get very far
Their move was relatively well prepared. Saturday September 24, around 9 p.m., a woman and her daughter seated on the terrace of a restaurant, quai de Richelieu, in Bordeaux, are interrupted in their discussion by a stranger. The man drops his cell phone in front of them, picks it up and shows them the broken glass. During these few exchanges, an accomplice takes the opportunity to steal the mother’s handbag, placed on a chair.
But the duo had probably not led to the sequel. Far from being dismantled, the victim went in pursuit of his thief, caught him and overpowered him, while asking witnesses to alert the police. Officers quickly intervened: the bag was returned to its owner and the thief was arrested, then brought back to the police station.
Presenting himself as a 16-year-old unaccompanied minor at the start of his police custody, the young man emerged as an adult, the investigations having established that he was 23 years old. He is due to appear in court shortly.
