“A show that follows the market numbers, there was great expectation supported by the numbers and we are seeing it. The exhibitors have also invested more because they are very confident that the market is there, and I must say that even the turnout confirms this. We are on the second day and I have heard compliments from exhibitors and visitors and not even a criticism ”. This was stated by Andrea Razeto, vice president of Confindustria Nautica, meeting journalists on the second day of the Genoa Boat Show.
Strengthened share of exports abroad
“Important numbers, a growth that has brought us back to pre-crisis data, to the 2007-2008 turnover and we also see it in the order book we have. Americans are very good, as are all the markets on which our members work. But compared to 2007-2008, the foreign share of exports has greatly strengthened ”. Andrea Razeto, vice president of Confindustria Nautica, explained this to La Presse this afternoon, commenting on the trend of the sector at the Genoa Boat Show. “We had about half of the Italian market and the other half of exports to foreign markets – he added with respect to exports – this year everything has moved: exports of yacht production have gone up to 88% abroad” .
