Adam Scheinherr – Dosimeter. A former member of the DPP supervisory board is involved in corruption
The club of the Dosimeter case began to unfold June 15 this year. Police officers intervene at the Prague municipality and at the headquarters of the transport company in Vysočany. At that time, the deputy mayor Petr Hlubuček was still being led away in handcuffs and the policy ends in detention. He is accused of participating in an organized criminal group and of possibly accepting or offering a bribe.

Soon, another of the deputy mayors, Adam Scheinherr, will issue a statement that the policy thus intervened on the basis of cooperation with him. According to his words, the politician filed a criminal complaint in 2020. However, there are ambiguities surrounding this interpretation – state representative Adam Borgula this version for Info.cz he refused with the exception of the criminal complaint “Adam Scheinherr further with the police authority he did not cooperate in any way“.
Double role?
Regarding the Dosimeter case, it was really busy in the recent debate of the mayoral candidates in the Blesk studio. “Going to the police is real brave act. Starting it is proof that no one was involved in it (the Dosimeter case – editor’s note). If someone was driving in it, they wouldn’t go to the police,” his party boss Jan Čižinský (Praha sebo) defended Scheinherr. “If everyone behaved like this, corruption would be over.”
Former member of the DPP supervisory board Michal Štěpán, who was nominated by the Pirates and who sat on the supervisory board twice (the last time from 2018 to June 2021), has a different view on the whole matter. According to him, the dosimeter did not explode because the deputy filed criminal measures, but because he was an actor in the case. In the material written by Štěpán and available to Blesk, there is a threat that the post of economic director of DPP, to which Matej Augustín was soon elected, who is another of the accused, was newly created precisely for Augustín, who was elected, among other things, by the vote of Scheinherr. At the same time, he let it be known that he did not want Augustína on the supervisory board of the DPP, although he did not initiate his appeal in the wave of arrests of the accused.
“The members of the supervisory board have been deprived of access to accounting, and the minutes of the board meeting are presented without an attachment. Supervisory board commissions were abolished. Participation in evaluation committees was limited to one member of the supervisory board,” wonders Štěpán about the practices that worked during the election period, when Scheinherr “led” the transport company as the deputy responsible for transport in the capital. In addition to his political function, he is also the chairman of the supervisory board.
He explained the practices in more detail in an interview for Info.cz: “Along with Witowski (Director General of DPP – editor’s note) prevented members of the supervisory board, except for councilor Scheinherr and Petr Hlubuček, from receiving materials, including annexes to minutes from the board of directors. Petr Witowski also forbade DPP employees to communicate with members of the supervisory board, again with the excuse of Adam Scheinherr and Petr Hlubuček, and Mr. Scheinherr forced everyone to sign confidentiality clauses,” he states, stating that there is virtually no control over who does what in the company. “Opportunity makes thieves, and Messrs. Scheinherr and Witowski undoubtedly created such an opportunity. Matěj Augustín worked without control.”
Among other things, it also bothers Štěpán that only when Hlubuček or Augustín were arrested did Scheinherr distance himself from them. Until then, he had worked with them, for example, on a contract for the service of the metro set for almost 15 billion crowns without a tender, although according to Štěpán, it could have resulted from a more transparent tender cheaper option. “Scheinherr tried to sweep problems and corruption risks under the carpet,” the former member of the supervisory board, who was dismissed, according to him, without explanation, stands up for himself.
Scheinherr: Nonsense!
Scheinherr vehemently denies these and other accusations through the mouth of Prague’s spokesperson. “What Mr. Štěpán says is complete nonsense. Now that Mr. Štěpán is so smart, he could have gone to the police. The only person who went to the police, and thanks to which the police could begin to unravel the whole octopus, was Adam ScheinherrJan Čižínský repeated the words of the head of Prague to herself CNN Prime News Cecílie Antůšková spokeswoman for Prague.
Dosimeter tentacles
The Dosimeter case stirred up political events across the whole of the Czech Republic. Because of her, or because of relations with Michal Redl – a controversial businessman who had close ties to the mobster Radovan Krejčíř and who is successful for the head of a criminal organizationwhich created a corrupt environment in the DPP, Petr Gazdík resigned from the Ministry of Education (TENT). A member of the European Parliament is also withdrawing from STAN membership Stanislav Polčak, who made no secret of his close ties to Redl. Due to the scandal, the STAN movement in Prague completely changed its candidate for the elections.
The case recently also affected opposition YES. Deputy Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies Jana Mračková Vildumetzová hosted another of the accused – Zakária Nemrah at the wedding. It was not just an ordinary visitor to a merry-go-round, Nemrah acted as a witness at the wedding of the newlyweds and is also the godfather of her child. Vildumetzová defended herself that she had nothing to do with Nemrah, unlike her husband Jan Mraček. He was a long-term member of the ODS.

Jan Čižinský and mayor Zdeněk Hřib (Pirates) blame the Prague coalition together the name of Jiří Pospíšil (TOP 09) in the 2nd place of the candidate because he was also supposed to be in contact with Redl. “Mr. Pospíšil met with Mr. Redl. He went on vacation with him,” Hřib let himself be heard in Blesk during the debate. “I am him (Redla – editor’s note) met in 2018. I didn’t know him before and I never met him afterwards,” explained Jiří Pospíšil in an interview for CNN Prima News.
According to his words, he met Redl when he was in Prague arranged by the group United forces for Prague, or TOP 09, STAN, KDU-ČSL for the 2018 municipal elections. “I saw Mr. Redl in the STANař team about three times. He wasn’t my partner. In the spring of 2018, I stayed in Italy, my colleague Mr. Gazdík, the chairman of STAN, Mr. colleague Polčák came to see me there for a day, two days, plus other STAN members. AND they also had this gentleman with them” Pospíšil let himself be heard about itwhy the mayor is attacking him for going on vacation with Redl.
Zdeněk Hřib holds the opinion that the “mafia” octopus has long tentacles, but they cannot reach everywhere. I, however, to him bonds with other accused in this case, specifically Pavlo Dovhomilja and Maroš Jančovič, are blamed by opposition politicians.
Specifically, it is about municipal orders in the field of computer technology, the management of which is the responsibility of the mayor. “We are witnessing that the mayor has proven himself to be a lie. He claims that the Pirates are not connected to the Dosimeter case. But the tentacles of this case penetrated the Prague municipality, the IT department and the city company ICT Operator,” said the representative of the mayor. m Ondřej Prokop (ANO) at the council meeting in August.
According to him, it was about orders for 50 million crowns, while Dovhomilja was also supposed to have orders at the Prague 11 town hall, where the Pirates rule in a coalition with ANO, ODS, TOP 09 and STAN. “Mr. Dovhomilja is a person who moved around the municipality. For a long time, he used to go around here and tried to push some suggestions. In 2017, the municipality also concluded a contract with Mr. Dovhomilja’s companies. It was under the Pirates that this contract was terminated“, however, pointed out Hřib.
