The dream universe of Nai Caprili on display in Siena
From September 24th to October 14th 20222 the Beaux Art Gallery in Siena presents the solo artist Nai Caprili entitled Sottosopra. The artist invites the public to discover a dreamlike universe.

Illustrator, painter, musician, Natalia Caprili invites the public to discover a dream universe made of words, sounds, colors where you can get lost and then find yourself.
Between fairy tale and magic, Upside down it is a hymn to all that is imaginative in our world, an invitation to read reality with different eyes to recover the amazement as a key to reading the newspaper. The fairy tale, the music, the drawing become powerful tools. The exhibition intends to offer the visitor the opportunity to become a child again, immersing himself in a suspended time where everything is possible.
Natalia Caprili grew up in Tuscany among the brushes of her father, a naive painter and soon began to draw. After graduating in Philosophy, obtained in Pisa in 2000, she continues her practical and theoretical research studies in the history of women at the University of Paris VIII. During her stay in Paris, she works as a painter-decorator and begins to consider the possibility of transforming her passion into her profession.
He returned to Italy in 2005 and contributed to the founding of the music group The Forasteri. In 2015 she gives life to the trio Nai et les hommes du monde. In 2014 he created the figure art show The Circus Nai and Max with Max Jurcev, musician and composer. Since 2007 she has exhibited in France and Italy, and since 2012 in the galleries of Carré d’artistes. “On stage or in her studio, Natalia Caprili loves to surprise the viewer. She constructs her works as if for a staging, arranging her actors as in a show, creating her costumes and all the decorations. The red curtain opens like a window on her imaginary, revealing a dreamlike universe suspended between reality and imaginary, inhabited by acrobats, equilibrists, clowns and musicians “, they wrote about her atInternational Expo of Carré D’Artistes in Lourmarin in July 2014.
