“The odds of the current mayor of Prague 7, Jan Čižínský from the Praha sebo movement, have been assessed by bookmakers at odds of 4.5:1 and we have accepted 2% bets on him so far. In terms of odds, the current mayor of Prague Zdeněk Hřib has the same odds (4.5:1), followed by Patrik Nacher for ANO with odds of 5.7:1. The other three adepts, namely Petr Hlaváček, Anna Šabatová or Milan Urban, are at the end of the “peloton” with odds of 70:1 and 100:1,” said Markéta Světlíková of the Chance betting office on Monday.
According to bookmakers, the SPOLU coalition for Prague (ODS, KDU-ČSL, TOP 09) has the best chance in the upcoming local council elections, for which the odds dropped slightly from 1.08:1 to 1.04:1 after a week. On the other hand, according to Světlíková, the odds of getting the most votes in the elections are increasing in the case of the Praha seba, ANO movement and the Czech Pirate Party
Municipal and Senate elections will be held on September 23 and 24. In the metropolis, people will vote for the leadership of the municipality and 57 city districts and three senates in the districts of Prague 6, Prague 10 and Prague 11.
