“Today, the game was quite good from our side and we scored goals, there could have been more, but thanks for the ones scored. We controlled the game from the start. The first half was at a great pace from our side, good combination and action. There could have been more goals. In the second half, we eased up a bit, probably because we didn’t let the opponent into anything,” commented Martin Jánošík, coach of Česká Lípa, who was finally satisfied with the match.
From the first minutes it was clear that Lípa had more of the game, she created several promising actions. The first goal was scored by David Halbich when he took advantage of a cross from Havela – 1:0. Then Havel got a chance, but he didn’t handle the ball as he imagined, he shot wide. Next came a chance for Šimon, who ran into the middle of Ješeta, but missed the ball in the slide. Šimon managed to do that two minutes before the end of the first half, when he went into the goal and fired a shot at goalkeeper Jungr – 2:0.
Lípa started the second half well again, even though in the 68th minute the goalkeeper Plechatý had to run out of the box and fell under the feet of Mlynek and sent the ball to safety. From the 62nd minute, the guests played with ten players, Novák was sent off for repaying the mistake, he received a straight red card. In the 72nd minute, Žižek increased the score to the final 3:0, when he shot a ground shot from the right by the visitors’ goalkeeper. At the end of the match, Nosek got a chance, who after Bulejka’s center aimed only at goalkeeper Jungr.
“We came for a point, unfortunately it didn’t work out. From the beginning, Lípa was the better team, the body absolutely deserved it. We had some hints, but not much. Lípa played well, she hasn’t scored three or four goals yet. Before the senseless expulsion of Novák, we wanted to dramatize it, but his expulsion brought us to our knees,” said coach František Jakubec.
