Carlos Lopes wins the Portuguese Mountain Racing Cup
The Portuguese Mountain Race Cup ended today. Castelo de Paiva in the final stage, the 14th Vintage Race.
Clube Atlético de Macedo de Cavaleiros dominated the men’s podium. Carlos Lopes was the big winner. The athlete from Macedonia finished the 15 kilometer course, in an “Up and Down” system (up and down), in 1:00:33.
In the second was Rui Muga, with the position time of 1:01:04, followed by José Carvalho in the third place, with the mark of 1:01:22.
In the final accounts of the Portuguese Mountain Race Cup, José Carvalho we discovered the trophy in the veteran category. The Third Trial Knight Athletes General Competition with Carlos II shows his position in Rui Muga’s position.
With the Mountain Race scheduled for the 6th of November, in Thailand, the competition in Castelo de Paiva will be the watch list for the national coach, who in the next few days will publish a call-up.
